Thoughts on a lonely day......

My heart is twitchy and I am petrified. A drop of tear silently rolls down my cheek  to fall on the ground. I bent down to pick up that tear knowing I have shed it for you. I don't want people to stamp on something which belongs to you. I cover my body where you have touched me, because i don't want your scent and warmth to fade away. I built a wall of love, hope, hate, aspiration and desire around my heart which once belonged to you because I don't want anybody invading it again. I lost the battle of love once and I have no intention of losing it twice.
I envy the moon, who is bright, loved and wanted by everyone. The stars surround her as she surveys the world. Her rays burn my skin, as I know that the object of my affection is watching her and she him. I desperately want to eclipse her sight but being an ignorant mortal I can not do that. So, slowly I walk away, broken more than before.

SACRIFICE.....sounds familiar? Of course it does! According to Dan Brown in his book 'The Lost Symbol', he writes 'The ancient rite of 'sacred making' had been the law of the land. From the early Hebrews who made burnt offerings at the temple, to the Mayans who beheaded humans atop the pyramids of Chichen Itza, to Jesus Christ, who offered his body on the cross, the ancients understood God's requirement for scarifice.'
Today, in this modern world though we don't have those gruesome scarifice still we find this term used for giving up something which is valuable to us in order to help someone. And interestingly the example given for this word in Cambridge Dictionary is, 'Many women sacrifice interesting careers for their family' Why can't it be men who sacrifice for their family?
It is a known fact that women all around the world are the ones to sacrifice. If she is born in a poverty stricken family, she will give up her schooling for her brothers. As she grows up, just because she is born as a woman, she has to sacrifice her lifestyle. She is not allowed to live her life as she likes. When she gets married she has to sacrifice her dreams and aspirations for her husband. Then she becomes a mother and sometimes she has to sacrifice her job. All in all, what I want to say is why does a woman have to sacrifice so much? Why can't a man be the one to sacrifice sometimes?
I can't deny the fact that there are few men who do sacrifice for their families but majority of men take their wives for granted. They think it's women's job to sacrifice. After sacrificing everything for her family, at the end of the day what does she get? Nothing, not even a 'Thank You' from her husband. So basically what I want to say is, men atleast to appreciate what your wives are doing for you!

Nothing has changed.....

Nothing has changed since you left me in this dark and hollow world. The sun still shines and the moon still comes out at night. But yes, sleep never comes to me. I can't sleep because you always haunt me.
The monsoon has arrived bringing new hopes to everyone. I walk in the rain searching every droplet hoping to find a drop which you might have shed for me. I prick up my ears to listen to the breeze anticipating a breath of whisper you might have released in calling my name. I rummage around the rose plants expecting one rose to be missing which you might have plucked for me.I walk on the balmy grass hoping to see the crushed blades of grass where you might have paced upon thinking about me. I call out your name now and then hoping the wind will pass on my message to you...
I shed silent tears in my bed. My heart bleeds for your soft touch. Yes, everything is same but I have changed.

How to treat a woman....

A woman is propitious when she knows she is loved, wanted and cared by her guy.A woman wants a man to express his feelings and emotions rather than just showing gestures. She craves to hear the words, 'I love you', 'I need you', 'I care for you', 'I can't live without you' etc....
A man never utters these words once they get the girl, though i can't contradict the fact that man are not good in showing their emotions. And it is also true that, their gestures are an outlet for their feelings. But for a woman, WORDS are more important than GESTURES. We always see men feeling awkward whenever they have to express themselves because they are not used to it. Hence, a woman thinks that her man doesn't love her enough and leaves for another guy who is a bit more expressive than him.
So guys, pluck up ur courage, practise on how to express your feelings and see the wonders it does on your woman. REMEMBER, the first time you say these words no doubt you will be criticized because she is not used to it, but remember this also, she will be delighted to hear these words.
Lastly, give her little gifts and surprises every now and then. Take her to movies and sometimes go out for dinner. Occasionally share her duties if not then simply stay in the kitchen watching her prepare dinner and most important of all, say 'I LOVE YOU' atleast once in a day and see the change in her attitude.

A man's love is like the rain drops on the window. They hit once, then gradually slide towards the ground  where they get dried up when the sun shines. They leave no trace nor the scent of its existence but the crater created by their presence is very much visible to all. Though time fills up the crater, it will never be the same again.

"Two souls with but a single thought,
Two hearts that beats as one.."
